Merino Yarn

Can you over-dye commercial yarn with Kool Aid? The yarn that I would like to dye is a merino blend and it is currently a very light color. Yes, you can, so long as it's animal fibre. (Also, superwash wool can have iffy results with koolaid...suggest dip dyeing if it's a superwash). You generally get normal overdying results..ie blended colors or darker colors. I would do a test piece to check my color before dyeing the whole lot.
