Knitting Yarn Wool

Can anyone advise of a suitable yarn substitution for Rowan Biggy wool yarn? I'm allergic to wool.? I need something that will work up well with size 19 knitting needles for a sweater pattern I have. The pattern uses Rowan Biggy and looks like the Rowan works up tight enough that I wouldn't need to wear a tank underneath. Needle Size: US 36 (20mm) Here are the specs from Rowan: http://www.knitrowan.com/html/yarns_results_new.asp?groupcode=14&weight=null&spec=null&guage=null Needle Size: 20mm (US 30) Tension/Gauge: 5.5 sts. & 7 rows per 10cm Meterage/Yardage: 30m per 100g ball So you need to find a super bulky yarn that gets 5.5 sts. & 7 rows per 10cm (4 inches). It also must get the gauge specified in your pattern. Each ball of Biggy Print is 30m (32 yards), so multiply that by the number of balls called for in the pattern to calculate the total yardage. If you can't find a super bulky yarn you like, try using two strands of worsted weight held together. But don't forget that you'll need double the yardage.
